At FLEXr Solutions, we're proud to play a role in shaping the future of the rotational moulding industry. In April, we had the pleasure of participating in a training event at PARTEC – the Plastic and Rubber Technical Education Centre – located on the TAFE Queensland campus in Mt Gravatt, Brisbane.

As Australia's leading training institute for plastics and rubber manufacturing, PARTEC plays a vital role in developing the next generation of skilled technicians and apprentices.

The centre offers hands-on, industry-led education that equips students with real-world capabilities, preparing them to meet the needs of a rapidly evolving sector.

We're especially proud of the collaboration between PARTEC and Rising Sun Rotational Moulding Machinery Company, one of the key suppliers we represent. As part of this partnership, Rising Sun has provided a lab-scale, single-arm shuttle rotational moulding machine – a valuable training tool that allows students to get up close and personal with the core techniques of the trade.

This machine allows PARTEC’s expert trainers to demonstrate best practices, troubleshoot common issues, and guide students through both the correct and incorrect ways to produce high-quality rotomoulded products. It's an essential step in preparing young moulders with the knowledge and confidence they’ll need to become future leaders in the industry.
